										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Uma das campanhas de artigos de moda de maior sucesso deste ano nas plataformas de <a href="https://www.tecnoveste.com.br/crowdfunding-o-que-e-como-funciona-e-para-que-serve/">financiamento coletivo</a> foi a da <a href="https://www.tecnoveste.com.br/romphim-macacao-masculino-que-arrecadou-300-mil-dolares-em-campanha-de-crowdfunding/">RompHim</a> &#8211; <a href="http://www.romphim.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">www.romphim.com</a>. Mais do que criar uma revolução na moda mundial ou que quebrar paradigmas, os fundadores do Romphim queriam colocar em prática a instrução que receberam na faculdade.</p>
<p><a href="https://twitter.com/dwcyoulater" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Daniel Webster-Clark</a> , Elaine Chen, Chip Longenecker e Alex Neumann são exemplo de empreendedorismo não só pelo sucesso inicial do seu produto, mas também pelo pragmatismo. Aprender, aplicar, analisar e replicar. Esse é o caminho que segue a <a href="https://www.romphim.com/pages/about-aced" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="broken_link">ACED Design</a>, a marca que trouxe de volta à moda o macacão masculino.</p>
<p>Em uma entrevista exclusiva com <strong>Daniel</strong>, pudemos saber um pouco mais do que motiva a existência da marca e quais são os planos para o futuro dos quatro amigos da Kellogg School of Management.</p>
<p>Com experiências profissionais no time de futebol americano San Francisco 49ers, na Guarda Costeira dos EUA e na People&#8217;s School of Music em Chicago, em 2017, <strong>Mr. Webster-Clark</strong> assumiu a função de Diretor de Marketing na ACED.</p>

<h3>How long did it take from the day you guys had the idea for RompHim to the day you launched the Kickstarter campaign?</h3>
<p>It took us just about 6 months of work to get from idea to launch. We went through countless prototypes and redesigns, working to get the fit exactly right. It&#8217;s tough to make a garment that&#8217;s one piece and stylish that could be worn at the beach, the bar, or the volleyball court.</p>
<h3>How does the process of buying the fabrics, sewing, packaging and shipping work?</h3>
<p>We take a very active role in each step of the production process. <strong>Elaine Chen</strong>, one of our co-founders, is our Head of Product, and she is constantly on the lookout for new styles and fabrics. RompHim is being manufactured in the U.S. Elaine also manages the relationship with our multiple production partners as we work to get as many people romping as quickly as we can!</p>

<h3>How did you plan your crowdfunding campaign and how important was Kickstarter to the initial sucess of your company?</h3>
<div>We spent a ton of time planning our campaign. Between building out enough marketing collateral for a great video to building an initial interest base that was ready to engage when we launched, it&#8217;s a huge undertaking.</div>

<div>We picked <a href="http://www.kickstarter.com" class="broken_link">Kickstarter</a> as a way to reach as many people as possible for a new product. With a Kickstarter, people are much more willing to take a risk on a new company launching a new idea, and we felt like that was important for what we are trying to do.</div>
<h3>How many people are there in the RompHim team?</h3>

<div>Our team started with 4 co-founders and has since expanded to around 8 people working on this full-time. We are headquartered in downtown Chicago, IL.</div>

<h3>What are you planning for the future of ACED Design?</h3>
<p>We&#8217;re here to stay! Our R&amp;D team is working on developing our next product &#8211; we won&#8217;t ruin the surprise yet, but stay tuned and you&#8217;ll see plenty more from us.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve added several team members already for the summer, including fellow MBA graduates and undergraduate interns. We&#8217;re also expanding our partnerships in other areas, and are excited for the team to continue to grow.</p>

<h3>I know you can&#8217;t tell me exactly what the next product will be, but can you say if it will be garment, accessory or something else out of the fashion industry?</h3>
<div>Great question &#8211; we definitely can&#8217;t reveal our next big idea, but I can say we&#8217;ve got some great new styles of the RompHim&#x2122; coming soon, so be on the lookout for those. We&#8217;re exploring options of other ways we can help people express themselves and own their style as well, and moving into areas outside of fashion certainly isn&#8217;t off the table.</div>
